About our tags
Every tag comes with a split ring and is checked before it ships. Add a rubber silencer to keep it quiet.
Stainless steel
We use one material: brushed stainless steel. It won't rust, stands up to chewing and scratching, and the dark laser mark is part of the metal, so there's no coating to wear off.

- Call me: the finder's phone opens a call to your number.
- Text me: opens a text message to you, handy if you can't always answer.
Questions
Will the engraving wear off?
The lettering is marked into the metal by a fiber laser, not printed or painted on. Normal wear can soften the finish over years, but the name and code stay readable.
Can I see a proof first?
The preview on this page shows your layout. If anything looks off when we prepare your tag, we'll email you before engraving.
Can I pick up in Clarkston?
Yes. Email us after you order and we'll arrange a local pickup.
Will a color name last as long as a dark one?
Not quite. Color marks are a thin layer created by heating the steel, so on a tag that drags on the ground every day they can fade over time. A dark name lasts the longest. Either way, the QR code on the back is always dark.
How does the QR code work?
Anyone who points a phone camera at it can call or text you, with no app or website needed. The code holds your phone number directly, so it keeps working no matter what. If your number changes, you'll need a new tag.
Can I order a replacement tag later?
Yes. Reply to your order email with any changes, like a new phone number, and we'll make a new one.
